About
Who I am
I'm Justin Psaila, a UX/UI Design Lead with over 10 years of experience designing accessible, user-centred digital products. I work at the intersection of user needs and business outcomes — creating interfaces that are clear, inclusive, and genuinely useful.
My work spans a broad range of sectors, including retail, government, telecommunications, finance, healthcare, and mobile applications. I've led teams and engagements across every stage of the design process — from user research and information architecture through to visual design, prototyping, and front-end implementation.
Accessibility sits at the core of how I approach every project. I believe that designing inclusively is not a constraint — it is good design. My work is consistently aligned to WCAG 2.2 standards, and I have conducted formal accessibility audits for public and private sector clients alike.
Approach
I work best in collaborative environments where design is treated as a strategic function rather than a finishing layer. I bring a structured, research-informed process to every engagement, but I'm equally comfortable moving quickly when the situation demands it. I aim to ask the right questions early, so that the work we build together is the right work — not just well-executed.
I care about craft. That means clean visual systems, logical information architecture, thoughtful interaction patterns, and code that behaves the way the design intended. I'm as comfortable discussing typography and colour contrast ratios as I am reviewing a component library or writing HTML.
